Somewhere in the forests of Kabini, there was a leopard you could barely see coming. His name was Saya. A rare melanistic leopard, his almost-black coat helped him disappear into the forest. Saya means “shadow” in Hindi, and the name couldn’t have suited him better. This piece is our tribute to the mystery, rarity and wild spirit of Kabini’s most elusive shadow.
